Light Up Hadstock Project

Professional infrastructure to unlock creativity, skills and community life.

unnamed (1).png

What We’re Doing

We are fundraising to install a professional lighting and curtain system at Hadstock Village Hall, transforming it into a flexible, high‑quality space for performance, events and community use.

Designed to work in harmony with the existing space, easy to use and suitable for a wide range of activities, with portable lighting extending the possibilities into other village spaces.

Why It Matters

Better lighting changes everything. It creates atmosphere, improves audience experience and allows performers to develop skills in a more professional setting.

For the wider community, it means more frequent, higher-quality events that remain low-cost and accessible to all.

What It Unlocks

  • Live performance, including theatre and readings

  • Music events featuring local bands and DJs

  • Activity in multiple village spaces, including St Botolph’s Church and the village green

  • Opportunities to learn technical skills in lighting, sound and stagecraft
